JOB SUMMARY

Accufile is seeking is seeking an experienced, full-time, remote Conflicts Researcher to support our law firm client conflict’s group. This is a remote role with East Coast Hours.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for processing conflict searches of daily new client requests in a timely manner using resources such as Lexis+, Dun & Bradstreets, Bloomberg, Courthouse News Services and Artificial Intelligence tools.

  • Communicate with administrative staff regarding conflicts check results, advise on actual or potential conflicts.  Track status of outstanding or on-going requests.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • 1-2 years’ experience with automated conflict checking systems and/or corporate research in a law firm environment preferred;

  • Must have knowledge of corporate research, due diligence, and compliance issues

  • Strong working knowledge of legal research platforms, business information databases, and research methodologies

  • Familiarity with AI‑powered research tools and analytics platforms, and the ability to integrate emerging technologies into research workflows

  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and collaborate effectively with attorneys and business professionals

  • Highly organized, with strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.  A combination of education in a research-intensive field with relevant work experience may be considered.
