Legal Conflicts Researcher

JOB SUMMARY
Accufile is seeking is seeking an experienced, full-time, remote Conflicts Researcher to support our law firm client conflict’s group. This is a remote role with East Coast Hours.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for processing conflict searches of daily new client requests in a timely manner using resources such as Lexis+, Dun & Bradstreets, Bloomberg, Courthouse News Services and Artificial Intelligence tools.
Communicate with administrative staff regarding conflicts check results, advise on actual or potential conflicts. Track status of outstanding or on-going requests.
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1-2 years’ experience with automated conflict checking systems and/or corporate research in a law firm environment preferred;
Must have knowledge of corporate research, due diligence, and compliance issues
Strong working knowledge of legal research platforms, business information databases, and research methodologies
Familiarity with AI‑powered research tools and analytics platforms, and the ability to integrate emerging technologies into research workflows
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and collaborate effectively with attorneys and business professionals
Highly organized, with strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. A combination of education in a research-intensive field with relevant work experience may be considered.
