Temporary Research Law Librarian - Remote

The Research Librarian provides research and reference to attorneys and staff. This role emphasizes excellent client service, cost management, and collaboration in knowledge management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver legal and non-legal research, reference, and document retrieval services.

• Manage library acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, and electronic resources.

• Maintain library systems, vendor relationships, and technology.

• Provide training on library tools and resources for attorneys and staff.

• Collaborate on knowledge management processes to improve firm services.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Library and Information Science (A.L.A - accredited) or equivalent.

• 3+ years of research experience in a law firm or corporate library.

• Expertise in online research tools (e.g., Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, VitalLaw, PACER).

• Experience with library systems and technical services.

• Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
